Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data ACE LEARNING APP collects, how it's used, and your rights as a user.
1Introduction
ACE Learning Partner ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ACE LEARNING APP mobile application (the "App"), an e-learning platform that provides access to live classes, recorded video lessons, course packages, online tests, OMR test evaluation, study materials and publications. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use the App.
By downloading, registering for, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2Information we collect
a. Information you provide to us
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, password.
- Profile details: profile photo, address (house, place, district, pincode), guardian's mobile number, educational interests.
- Identity for sign-in: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture from your Google account.
- Content you create: messages in chat, doubts posted to faculty, ratings, reviews, feedback, OMR answer sheets, attendance and test responses.
- Communication: any information you send us through the in-app Contact Us form, email or phone calls to our support team.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system, OS version, unique device identifiers and crash logs.
- Usage data: features used, screens viewed, videos watched, time spent, search queries, course/test progress and in-app actions.
- Network information: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, network type and connection status.
- App diagnostics: performance metrics, error reports and crash reports collected via Firebase Crashlytics.
c. Information collected with your permission
- Camera & photos: to capture profile photos, upload OMR answer sheets and scan QR codes.
- Storage / files: to download study material, save certificates, and upload supporting documents.
- Location: to suggest your nearest branch and to auto-fill address details (only when you grant permission).
- Notifications: to send class reminders and important updates.
3How we use your data
- To create and manage your account, authenticate you and secure the App.
- To deliver our services — live classes, recorded videos, course packages, OMR tests, publications and certificates.
- To personalise your learning — recommended courses, reminders and progress tracking.
- To respond to your enquiries, support tickets and feedback.
- To send transactional and (with consent) promotional notifications, emails and SMS.
- To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security and technical issues.
- To comply with applicable laws, court orders and regulatory requirements.
4Sharing & third-party services
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with trusted service providers strictly to operate the App:

5Device permissions
The App requests the following permissions only when needed:
- Camera: profile photo capture, OMR sheet upload, QR scanning.
- Photos / Media / Storage: selecting profile pictures, downloading study material and certificates.
- Location (approximate & precise): finding your nearest branch and auto-filling address details.
- Microphone: for live class interaction and voice notes (when enabled).
- Notifications: for class reminders and updates.
- Internet & network state: required to load content and stream videos.
You can revoke any permission at any time from your device settings; revoking a permission may disable the related feature.
6Data storage & security
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS / TLS.
- Sensitive credentials such as authentication tokens are stored using your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android).
- Downloaded video content is encrypted on device.
- Servers are hosted on industry-standard cloud infrastructure with restricted access, firewalls and routine backups.
While we use reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at aceapponline@gmail.com.
7Data retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
8Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- Port a copy of your data to another service where technically feasible.

9Children's privacy
The App is intended for use by students and learners of all ages. If the user is below 18 years, use of the App must be with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, whose contact details (e.g., guardian's mobile number) may be collected as part of the student profile. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
10Cookies & analytics
The App and any associated web pages may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure engagement and improve the service. We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregated usage patterns. You can clear local data from your device settings or browser at any time.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
