CUET Botany

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Botany Postgraduate Programs is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam provides students a gateway to pursue postgraduate degrees in Botany across various central and participating universities in India.

• Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)

• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

• Total Number of Questions: 100

• Marking Scheme:

  • +4 marks for each correct answer

  • -1 mark for each incorrect answer

  • No marks for unattempted questions

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Botany, Life Sciences, or a related field from a recognized university.

• Minimum Percentage Requirement:

  • General category candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their undergraduate program.

  • SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates must have a minimum of 45%.

• Age Limit: There is no age restriction for appearing in the CUET PG examination.
