Description

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Life Sciences is a national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into postgraduate programs in Life Sciences across various central and participating universities in India.

  • Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes (105 minutes)

  • Question Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

  • Total Questions: 75 domain-specific questions

  • Marking Scheme:

    • +4 marks for each correct answer
    • -1 mark for each incorrect answer
    • No marks for unattempted questions

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field from a recognized university. This includes degrees such as B.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or equivalent.

  • Minimum Marks:

    • General category candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
    • For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories, a minimum of 45% marks is required.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in the CUET PG Life Sciences Exam.

The application process is conducted online through the official CUET PG portal. Candidates are required to register, fill in personal and academic details, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee as per their category.
