Exam Mode: Offline (Pen-and-Paper Based Test)

Duration: 120 minutes for each paper

Number of Papers: Two

• Paper I: General Knowledge (Part A) and Aptitude in Teaching(Part B)

• Paper II: Subject-specific (Botany/Zoology)

Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Marking Scheme:

• Paper I and II (except for Mathematics and Statistics):

  • +1 mark for each correct answer

  • No negative marking

• Mathematics and Statistics: Each correct response carries 1.5 marks

Educational Qualification:

• A Master’s degree in Botany, Life Sciences, or related disciplines with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

• Candidates with a B.Ed degree in Life Sciences/Botany/Zoology from NCERT-affiliated institutions are also eligible.

Additional Qualifications:

• A B.Ed degree is mandatory for most subjects except for Commerce, Social Work, and some language-specific fields.

Age Limit: No age restriction.
